Is this legal and safe?
Yes. Checks use breach data that has already been collected and indexed by specialist services. Nobody from fromIT goes browsing criminal forums, and your data isn't shared.
A password has leaked. Are we hacked?
Not necessarily. It usually means another site was breached. The fix is to change that password everywhere it was used and turn on multi-factor authentication.
Does it help with Cyber Essentials?
